PSG In Talks To Extend Presnel Kimpembe's Contract

According to a story that was released today by L'Équipe, Paris Saint-Germain and homegrown center back Presnel Kimpembe have now resumed conversations regarding the renewal of their contract. The present contract for the French international is going to run out in the year 2024 if everything goes according to plan.

The footballer, who is 27 years old, has just returned to action after being sidelined for a little over a month and a half due to a hamstring injury. He played a brief role in the team's victory over Maccabi Haifa, which they won 7-2.

Kimpembe caused a stir in the media back in June with some remarks he made on his future with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). On the other hand, since then, it is stated that the defender has formed a positive relationship with the manager, Christophe Galtier, who regards the defender as an integral component of the system that he is running. Luis Campos, who was upset about the remarks he made while on duty in France and had indicated that he would be sold during the summer if a substantial offer came in, has also been normalized. Campos had indicated that he would be sold if an offer came in during the summer that was substantial. These statements, however, have been taken back, and Luis Campos has indicated that he will not be put up for sale at this time.

The conversations regarding an extension of his contract have resumed exactly where they were left off now that his ailment has been cured. PSG are adamant about keeping Kimpembe on their roster, despite the fact that a contract extension will most likely not be finalized until after the World Cup. Despite the fact that negotiations are not as far along as they are for Marco Verratti or Marquinhos, PSG are determined to keep Kimpembe on their roster.
